The first thing you will notice about Banksia Bath 'n' Groom is that it is conducted out of my home. This allows me to be more flexible with when and how long I can spend on your dog.  I will try and do my very best to cater to your needs and the needs of your dog. Young puppies, anxious dogs and senior dogs often need extra breaks or playtime during the grooming process to keep them happy and comfortable and because I am working from home I have the flexibility to offer the extra time and patience these dogs might need. I have extensive knowledge of dog behaviour and will take my time to make sure that even the most nervous dog has a good experience.

All dogs will enjoy a hydrobath using warm, clean water and quality shampoo and conditioner. Hydrobaths are a very effective way of bathing a dog as water and shampoo penetrates deep into the coat down to the skin helping to remove dry dead skin cells and dirt that can be hidden and hard to get rid of, especially for dogs with longer and thicker coats. The action of the water through the nozzle acts as a massager and helps with blood circulation, relieves tired muscles and has been found to be beneficial for arthritis sufferers and older dogs. Dogs are then rinsed thoroughly with warm, clean water to ensure no soap products are left on the dog's skin. A variety of shampoos and conditioners are avaliable to suit your dog's skin and coat needs. 

Dogs are then towel dried before being dried with a specialised pet drier. The drier is much quieter than many pet driers on the market and has varying speeds so will cater for all dogs, from the smallest of puppies to those with the largest and thickest coats.

Then, depending on what the client wants, your dog will be brushed, deshedded, clipped or tidied up to your requirements. Nails clipped and ears cleaned as required. Dogs are then spritzed with a shine and detangling spray and ready to go home.
